Dr. Gajula Prasad

Dr. Gajula Prasad is a Research Professor at the School of Energy, Materials, and Chemical Engineering, Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH), South Korea. His research is dedicated to advancing the field of functional thin films and energy materials through the rational design of polymer–nanomaterial hybrid systems and scalable fabrication methodologies. His work emphasizes engineered surface functionalities for applications in energy harvesting, wearable electronics, and smart coatings, employing advanced techniques such as electrospinning, electrodeposition, and surface modification.

He has established a strong and impactful research profile, with over 45 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, including Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Energy, Advanced Materials and Hybrid Composites, Small, Chemical Engineering Journal, and ACS Applied Electronic Materials. Dr. Prasad also holds five national and international patents (three Chinese, one Korean, and one US), reflecting his commitment to translational research and technological innovation. A recipient of the prestigious National Research Foundation (NRF) Fellowship in South Korea, he actively contributes to the scientific community as an editorial board member and reviewer for several high-impact journals, supporting the advancement of materials science and energy technologies.
