Dr. Sushant Rawal

Dr. Sushant Rawal is a seasoned Process Development and Materials Engineer whose work spans advanced thin-film deposition, PVD/PECVD processes, and materials characterization for both R&D and high-volume manufacturing. He has led cross-functional teams in cleanroom production and pilot-scale technology transfer, holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from IIT Roorkee and licensure as a Professional Engineer (ON, Canada).

His contributions include commercialization-focused innovations-novel particle-based solar cells, pioneering lithium anode materials, and multiple optical and PVD coatings that substantially extended tool life-alongside a strong publication record and hands-on expertise with SEM, XRD, AFM, ellipsometry, and production-scale sputtering systems.
