Dr. S. Thanikaikarasan

Dr. Sethuramachandran Thanikaikarasan is presently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha University (Deemed), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained his M.Sc and Ph.D Degree in Physics (Specialistation : Insturmentation & Materials Sciences) in India 2004 and 2010, respectively.  He has vast research experience in the field of Thin films, Electrodeposition, Nanomaterials, Optical, Magnetic materials, Photoelectrochemistry, Photocatalysis, Photovoltaic, Energy storage device applications  He has awarded Senior Research Fellow (CSIR-SRF), HRDG, New Delhi, India on 2008 upto 2010. He has Publications: 167; in International reputed Journals with Scopus (h index : 25; citations: 1864), Google Scholar (citations: 2382; h index: 28; i10 index: 67) & Web of Science ((h index : 22; citations: 1600) Patent : 3  & 10 more number of awards international. He has successfully completed research project funded amount (4,80,000 INR) by Council of Science and Industrial Research (CSIR), HRDG, New Delhi, India and two major R & D projects (INR.50,00,000) funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy (BRNS-DAE), Baba Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, India. He has acted as Editor & Guest Editor in the scopus indexed journals Edelweiss Applied Science and Technology; The Open Biomaterials Science Journal; Journal of New Materials for Electrochemical Systems and served as peer reviewer for number of international reputed journals. He has is in the rank of (Scientists: 1.446.058; Countries:219;Universities:23.032) in “AD Scientific Index: 4326683 from 2020 onwards.
